A south Georgia police pursuit winds up across the border in Leon County. When it was over, investigators found all the makings of a meth lab in the suspect's car.
The chase started in Grady County early Sunday morning. Deputies there were trying to stop a man for driving the wrong way on U.S. 319.
It ended on Sparkleberry Road in Leon County where deputies found the suspect hiding a gallon-sized container of what looked like a byproduct of meth.
SGT Chris Chase of the Leon County Sheriff's Office said, "We've been seeing more and more, and most of our meth lab problems are problems that come from the outlying counties to Leon County."
Twenty-three-year-old Jeffery Crosson is facing a number of charges in Leon and Grady Counties, including fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer and possession of listed chemicals.
