Leon County sheriff's investigators and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement found what looks like military hand grenades in a kitchen drawer.
Once the bomb squad was called in, a bomb robot soon went to work.
Its job was to determine if the explosives are real, and if so, help investigators figure out how to safely dispose of them.
The law enforcement presence was certainly stirring up the neighbors including one man who lives next door.
Cameron Mazyck said, "I was inside and my roommate came home from work and was like, ‘dude, there's a bunch of cops outside,’ so I walked out and they were pulling the robot off the truck and wheeled it in there."
The bomb disposal process took several hours.
