The search is on by air and by ground for a suspect who attempted to rob a man, then cut him with a knife.
Police say the suspect went to a southside home where the owner and a young man were working. Police say the suspect demanded tools from the young man, but the victim refused. That's when the suspect slashed the victim's arm with a knife, then took off.
"The victim ran to the Discount Auto Parts to get help, which is where our officers found him, brought him back to the scene. A helicopter from the Sheriff's Office came over and tried to help us out and we had a dog try to track him, but we were unsuccessful," said SGT Mark Peavy with the Tallahassee Police Department.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 40s, 5’8” to 5’10”. Police say he may be wearing blue jeans and a black shirt and ball cap.
