Members of the famed FAMU Marching 100 were honored Friday for their performance on the 48th annual Grammy Awards.
The 20 members who flew to Los Angeles spent the day signing autographs, taking pictures and being honored by faculty, staff and classmates.
The members were high stepping Wednesday night with rapper Kanye West and actor/singer Jamie Foxx before millions of viewers around the world.
"I had all of my family that watched. When I got off of the stage I had eight or nine missed calls, people saying 'I see my cousin on TV,’" says band member Jeremy George.
"I would have to take back the experience as a whole. There was no part better than the other, so I would have to say, meeting the stars to performing on stage, everything about it was great," says band member Bryan Hooper.
Other members say the experience was humbling and it makes them want to practice harder on their music.
