Hurricane Katrina postponed the 2005 Celtic Festival in November. Now, coordinators are crossing their fingers hoping for fair weather this weekend.
Crews are setting up tents off of Roberts Road preparing for the 25,000 festivalgoers.
The Irish and Scottish celebration offers foods, games and authentic arts and crafts. Coordinators say these cultures are deeply rooted in our area.
Gates open Saturday at 9 a.m. for the eighth annual Tallahassee Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Festival.
