Wet and slippery roads may be to blame for a fatal accident in Gadsden County.
It happened around 9 a.m. Saturday morning on U.S. 27 and Salem Road in Havana.
Witnesses say 40-year-old Chuck Pennick was speeding when he lost control of his SUV.
The Florida Highway Patrol says both the front and back of the driver's side struck two trees and then caught on fire.
FHP says the crash is still under investigation and it is not clear if Pennick was wearing his seat belt.
No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
