Police say the new program is receiving excellent community support with phones ringing off the hook.
Crime Stoppers is in its beginning stages, but police are working hard to get the word out in the community. So far they say they've made four arrests.
SGT Rachelle Denmark of the Thomasville Police Department says, "The first time the paper came out we made four arrests immediately, two before 9 o'clock that morning.
It's been a very successful program and it's been a lot of work."
Thomasville police say crime stoppers is run by community volunteers who fundraise and issue rewards. Anyone with information on a case is asked to call 229-227-3305.
