Howard Middle School officials are getting their students prepared for the nail biting test with an FCAT blitz.
School officials say several of the students came in on their off day to get a heads-up on the big test.
One middle school administrator says the blitz was good preparation.
Orlando Burch, an instructor, says, "It has given them confidence so when they sit down and take the FCAT, they won't be nervous and view it as a test."
Students are expected to take the math, science and reading portions of the test from February 27 to March 10.
