Saturday's weather was warm, but not as hot as the chili.
Chefs and chili lovers made it out Saturday afternoon to Market Square in Tallahassee, all enjoying the Capital City Chili Cook-Off.
All proceeds raised go to the Dick Howser Center, an organization helping children with developmental disabilities.
Participants say a little bit of heartburn is worth raising money for a great cause.
Nicole Lott, enjoying the chili cook-off, said, "It is my first time out here and we're having a good time. It's pretty weather today and having fun with the kids out. There's lots to do with the kids, so we're having a good time."
The first place winner is "Ancho" mama's chili. Although the chili was the main event, there was also an auction to help raise more donations for the center.
