It's an adventure for all ages. Saturday was the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory's 12th annual open house.
Once a year the Florida State University Mag Lab opens its doors to the residents of the Big Bend.
Kids jumped at the chance to become the science experiment! At the same time they enjoyed the educational part of the lab.
Kendall Scott, enjoying the lab, said, "I've only been out here once but I think it's pretty cool!”
“What's your favorite part?”
“Probably the 3-D part of it."
The fun, hands-on environment was a great way for families to spend the beautiful day.
At 330,000 square feet, this mag lab is the largest and highest powered magnetic laboratory in the world.
