The Tallahassee Police Department says a violent fugitive is on the loose.
The 25-year-old suspect, Lashawn Jordan, is wanted for a variety of violent crimes.
Police say Jordan was in court Feb. 14 for an aggravated assault with a firearm charge.
The jury went out to deliberate his case and the suspect left the courtroom, and failed to appear when they returned with their verdict.
As a result the judge has issued the following warrants: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police say anyone having contact with this suspect should use extreme caution.
