The body of a homeless man was discovered Tuesday morning, right outside the Lincoln Neighborhood Center.
Deputies were called to scene about 7 a.m. by a teacher who had arrived at the sail school next door.
A sheriff's department spokesman says the man appears to have died of natural causesm and they're not sure yet how long he'd been dead. The man's body was entrance to a day care center, and just over the fence from the Sail High School campus. Children at the day care and the school were kept inside until deputies finished processing the scene. To make matters worse, voters were arriving to vote at the city precinct inside the Neighborhood Center.
A driver’s license lists the deceased man's age as 43 and authorities are still trying to notify his family.
