Gang Related Shootings

Multiple shootings over night keep the Tallahassee Police Department busy throughout the day.

TPD says the calls started around midnight Sunday, first about people in two cars exchanging gun shots on North Monroe Street; then another call, someone shot in the foot on Alabama Street; then a third complaint of a home being shot at on Gibbs Street.

LT Brian Donaldson with the Tallahassee Police Department says, "We made two arrests which led to a third arrest. Two guns have been recovered we have additional suspects that are being investigated now and will be questioned some time this week."

The home on Gibbs Street is full of bullet holes. The home owner says she is lucky to be alive and thankful no one in the home was injured.

TPD says these shootings are believed to be gang related. Two of the suspects arrested are juveniles, the third suspect, Jermar Tillie, is being held in the Leon County Jail.
