A group of local performers used their talent to show opposition to the war on Iraq.

The anti-war protest was part of the first ever worldwide theatre event for peace. Here's more on the global effort.

Tallahassee is playing a part in a world wide anti war protest.As of Monday afternoon, 1,042 readings o in 56 countries around the globe.

The idea for the Lysistrata Project was created just two months ago and gained support through email.

It’s rare to combine acting and activism. And the theatre artists also say an anti war protest is something they never expected to play a part in.

Monday’s protest took place on the steps of the old Florida capitol building.

Coordinators say their main goal is to get people around the world to stand up, unite and make a difference.
