Investigators say they have tentatively identified the two people killed in a plane crash as residents of Tallahassee.
The bodies of a man and a woman were recovered Tuesday from the fuselage of a small plane that had crashed into the Gulf of Mexico off Cedar Key.
The plane went down in heavy rain Monday night. The victims are tentatively identified by family members as Tallahassee residents, Augustus Guss Winchester and his girlfriend, Pamela Reiber.
Investigators say both were still strapped in their seats, with Winchester at the controls.
His uncle says Winchester was a contractor and the brother of Leon County Commissioner Dan Winchester.
Autopsies and positive ID's are expected Wednesday.
