Adrian McPherson in court

Former FSU quarterback Adrian McPherson turned himself in at the Leon County Jail Thursday morning on misdemeanor gambling charges.

He then appeared in court to face accusations of grand theft and forgery.

Adrian McPherson arrived in court with his parents and attorney Grady Irvin. He did not say a word during the 10-minute hearing and had nothing to say as he boarded the elevator.

After the camas disappeared, McPherson/s lawyer talked with WCTV exclusively.
McPherson faces three felonies and one misdemeanor in connection with a check that police claim he stole from R&R accessories in November. Forged for $3,500 and had a friend cash the check.

Prosecutors say it is tough to say how the new gambling charge will impact the rest.

McPherson’s attorney says it is too early to say if this case will ultimately go to trial. He does say his client is aware of what is at stake.

The judge set another case review on April 10.
