Red Cross Selects 2006 Logo

Erin Rich says she's only been drawing for a year, but the sixth grader's design will be the logo for the 2006 Red Cross Campaign.

Rich says she was inspired by people in her life, including a family friend who is a nurse. Rich says she's surprised and excited about winning.

Erin Rich says, "It feels very good to know that now my art is good enough to win. I've never really won anything, so it feels good to win something."

The t-shirt will be the highlight of "Dress Down Day," an annual Red Cross fundraiser that brings in thousands of dollars to help the south Georgia area.
