Robber Rats Out Partner

Leon County deputies have now arrested two men for donning masks and guns and robbing the Express Lane convenience store last week.

Eighteen-year-old James Davis and 33-year-old Travis Jones are behind bars and deputies say Jones actually called the law himself trying to rat out his friend.

SGT Chris Chase, LCSO spokesman, says, "Investigators from the robbery task force were able to determine, through the interviews, the information they were receiving as to who the suspect was was actually coming from his partner in the crime."

Deputies recovered a ski mask and handgun in the men's apartment. With Davis and Jones in custody and Charles Sanmann arrested earlier this week, deputies say they have now solved all but one of the recent rash of southside robberies.
