Chelsea's house is a program that provides shelter and mentoring for homeless and disadvantaged women.

Saturday they celebrated their one year anniversary with a new location and according to founder Beth Burns, a house full of generous donations.

"The community has wrapped their arms around this project. They've taken it as their own it's been very exciting. Everything that we have has been donated to us and everyday something new comes our way from folks from the community."

The shelter started out in a trailer but today, a ribbon cutting ceremony opened the doors to a three bedroom, two bathroom home.

Chelsea's house has plans to build an entire village for displaced women and children.

Over sixty women have gone through the program and now are living independently on their own.
