Refuge House is hoping to "drum up" support for domestic violence victims. Preparations are underway at Spanish Moss Farm for Saturday's "Women ROCK!" concert.
All of the proceeds will benefit Refuge House, which provides services for battered women and their children.
Refuge House Executive Director Meg Baldwin says, “We'll be hosting some of the most prominent female musicians nationally as well as a host of local and regional bands. We expect somewhere between 600 to 800 to 1,000 people to come.”
Women ROCK! begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 2 a.m. Spanish Moss Farm is located off of East County Road 12 in Quincy.
