Two and four legged friends made it out for the Fifth Annual Furry-Scurry through Tom Brown Park.
Our very own Jennifer Ryan emceed the event. This year's scurry has been a huge success with over 300 runners. Organizers say it's the biggest one yet!
Runners laced up their shoes to raise money for a few needy animals at the Tallahassee Leon Community Animal Service Center.
Kate McFall, an organizer with the Furry-Scurry, says, "Treats' two big programs are the free spay/neuter vouchers and the vet assist, and that's where the proceeds go, and again we partner with the city municipal shelter."
Organizers thank the beautiful weather Saturday morning for bringing out large numbers of runners, walkers, and tail waggers.
Proceeds from the run will go towards the Treats Organization and the Animal Shelter.
