On the first day of the fourth year in Iraq, talk of the war echoes from the campus of Florida State University. Former U.S. Ambassador Joseph Wilson was speaking in the Ruby Diamond Auditorium Monday night.

Wilson was discussing his views outlined in a book "The Politics of Truth: Inside the Lies That Led to War and Betrayed My Wife's CIA Identity."

"I think it’s important that the President be held accountable and this administration be held accountable for an extraordinary strategic blunder of historic proportions," said Wilson.

FSU student Mina Kim attended the meet and greet with Ambassador Wilson preceding the lecture.

"I know about the whole summer just constantly in the press about his wife, Valerie Plame, the CIA leak with Karl Rove and Scooter Libby and Robert Novak, and I really wanted to hear it from someone who was there who actually experienced it firsthand."

After speaking, Wilson signed copies of his book and met with attendees one on one. He also shared with readers how he and his family were affected by the war.
