It has been a beautiful Monday, but looking at the effects of last week's rainfall, at least one Leon County road is still flooded.

Fairbanks Ferry Road, or County Road 12 in northwest Leon County, has been under water since Sunday.

The area is flooded with water from the overflowing Ochlockonee River. Monday afternoon, Leon County Sheriff's Deputies were still recommending that drivers not use the road.

Though the flood waters appeared to be receding. Near Havana, the river is about three feet above flood stage and is expected to rise another foot by Wednesday evening.
