It's all part of the Georgia Wiregrass Chapter's Annual Dress Down Day. Participating businesses purchased t-shirts for employees and offered discounts to patrons wearing them.
Organizers say they sold more than 2,000 shirts this year.
Melinda Fridell of the Red Cross Georgia Wiregrass Chapter says, "It's been phenomenal. We've had an overwhelming success, and the art is so beautiful this year, and we've had great sponsors and we have great discount sheets. It's just a fun day for everyone and it supports the community. Without this t-shirt drive we wouldn't be able to support the community."
The shirt designs were created by a Thomas County middle school student.
Red Cross organizers say Dress Down Day is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
