When Tallahassee’s Challenger Center asked the space agency for models and props they got their wish.
Unfortunately, the models were in pieces and needed a lot of work. So it was Glenn Johnson to the rescue. Glenn is a renowned space modeler who fabricates his own exacting replicas of spacecrafts.
And where did the Challenger Center find this expert artist of all things plastic?
How about right within Tallahassee’s city limits.
"They had a piece of stuff and they didn't even know what it was, a tedris, or that's whatever satellite,” says space modeler Glenn Johnson.
When you visit the Challenger Center check out Glenn's work. From the lunar module to hanging satellites most of the displays have been brought to life through his hard work.
