Wakulla County Flooding

The water continues to rise in Wakulla County, drowning any hope that residents will see dry land anytime soon.

For the past several days some homeowners have had to paddle their way to their front door. There's some ocean front property for sale in Wakulla County, but it's not exactly the kind of water retreat people dream of.

Woodland drive is eight feet under water. While some residents have left for dry land, others stayed behind. Now, they are struggling to keep their heads above water.

Despite all the water, residents haven't let it dampen their spirits; in fact they've re-named their neighborhood from Woodland Park to Woodland Lake.

Residents want to know how long they will have to boat to and from home. It could be at least a month before this road sees the light of day.
