"Smart Water" to Reduce Property Crime?

Tallahassee commissioners approve the first ever pilot program in the United States claiming to reduce property crime. The product: Smart Water.

City commissioners are getting a firsthand look at how it works.

The forensically encoded liquid, specific to the homeowner, will glow under a special light. It's not just to mark personal property, but to also identify the burglar.

The liquid will not wash off for weeks.

There will be 700 kits available later this month.
