A local radio station is receiving a little national exposure.

Keith Miles, station manager for FAMU's campus radio station, WANM-FM 90.5, has been named black college radio station manager of the year.

The student-run station has garnered many awards and was recently rated the number two college radio station in the country.

"I'm very flattered, honored and humbled by this award to be named station manager of the year in black college radio. We have a tremendous staff that helps me to be successful and helps 90.5 to be successful," says Miles, who credits the station's success to catering to the needs of the community.
