House republicans say children in military families should have access to private school vouchers.
A bill passing through the Florida House of Representatives expands the program that allows companies to write themselves tax breaks if they sponsor private scholarships for needy children.
Supporters of the military voucher bill say now is the time to pass the bill. Rep. Pat Patterson said, "It's a good time.”
Democrats oppose the bill saying it exploits military families.
