They are the best of the best and they are putting their skills to the test.
FAMU host the NROTC Challenge. ROTC teams from the University of Florida, Vanderbilt, Citadel and FAMU took the Seal Challenge. Teams competed against each other to see who had what it takes to be a Navy Seal.
This is the first year FAMU has organized the competition and participants say it was worth it.
"I think special forces are playing a vital role in Iraq,"said participant Evan Hetche. "We are training leaders here and I want to be one of them."
FAMU's Seal society organized the event and plan to bring it back again next year.
