Many people in and around Tallahassee used the first Sunday since the war began as a day of prayer for our troops.
The Bethel Missionary Baptist Church members in Tallahassee sang hymns and whispered prayers for those overseas and those who are on their way.
Most everyone at Bethel had a family member or a close friend who's been deployed.
Some members say coming to church helps them cope with the reality of war, and they say they will continue to pray four our troops until they make it safely back home.
