Update 9:00pm

Jacksonville police are trying to find a man who they said attacked a disc jockey after an altercation at a bar and then cut the man's eyes out, WJXT-TV reported.

Investigators said the DJ was attacked in early July 5 near the Starlite Cafe.

Police found him in the neighborhood because someone driving by saw him lying in the street.

According to a police report, the DJ had life-threatening injuries and both of his eyes were protruding from his face.

Friends of the victim told WJXT-TV the man who loved playing music in the bar now has to rely on his hearing because the attack left him blind.

This story is beyond sickening. Why was Foster Leon out of jail and on the street? Who is responsible for him being there? Why are so many of the most debased, humanity-challenged criminals - much less ONE - on ANY of our streets? Every day, we read/hear of the most heinous of crimes committed against innocent victims by repeat Offenders, reported as if they occurred in a social vacuum independent of 'cause'. There is surely a 'Liberal', legal cause-effect here; and we need to address the madness, both on the streets and in our Justice system this madness invites. Too many innocent victims are suffering the worst of consequences.

I agree Capt Obvious! tell you what you be Batman ill be Robin. because its gonna take someone standing up for whats right, because the justice system in general is screwed up! i mean for the love of all things holy we have sex offenders, murders, and just pure psychos walking the streets and living in our neighborhoods. good old fashioned texas justice would never have let this happen.

Another brutal crime committed by the black man...is anyone really suprised! Once again..it's time to take our streets back from these thugs (all races included) and make them safe again!
