TALLAHASSEE, FL - The FSU Police Department will be conducting two sobriety checkpoints the evening of Thursday, August 28 on the FSU campus as part of its continuing efforts to identify and remove impaired drivers from roadways.
The checkpoints will take place in the 800 block of Jefferson Street on campus the hours of 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., and on Murphree Street between the hours 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
The checkpoints will be clearly marked with officers in uniform. Officers will be looking for impaired drivers who may pass through the checkpoint. Safe and sober drivers will only experience a brief delay if they pass through a checkpoint.
