It’s a process that would start by having a zoning plan drawn up by the Regional Development Center in Camilla. But some commissioners say they fear a zoning plan will hurt the value of farmland. They say sitting on agriculturally zoned land would hit farmers in the pocket book if they decide to sell.
So while commissioners aren't making any guarantees on the heels of the latest zoning request, it's a topic that's, for now, back on the county's radar.
