Thirty two years and going strong, the 32nd annual Blue Crab Festival "clawed" its way in Panacea and delighted seafood lovers in the community.
Tasty blue crabs are the talk of the town in Panacea. Thousands came out to enjoy delectable dishes from the sea world, and live entertainment. But the community had a little more to be thankful at this year's celebration. Not too long ago this park was destroyed by Hurricane Dennis.
After a great deal of hard work, the community pulled together to renovate the park and continue with tradition, and with great food and family fun, the festival is something everyone can enjoy.
The next event to be held in the renovated Woolly Park will be the Children's Fishing Tournament in June.
