A male mentoring group of dedicated people in Thomasville is trying to educate children not only on the lessons in school, but the lessons in life.
The male mentor program out of the Rose City, is a group effort made possible by Thomasville's First Missionary Baptist Church and city school leaders.
24-hours a day, 7 days a week, dozens of dedicated volunteer educators take the time to help children with their learning and with life.
Male Mentor, Dr. Jim Cable, said, "Adults need to be on the same page as the needs are and to help them to help us get the message and visa versa."
The program is new and mentoring members say they can use all the help that they can get.
So, if you have the spare time and a love for children, get on board this education journey and call 229-228-1606.
