It could take weeks or months for an accused rapist to be brought back to Tallahassee to face charges.
U.S. marshals tracked down 27-year-old Brandon Hepburn in Broward County this week. He was wanted for the rape of an FSU student on Harriet Drive and had been on the run for nearly a month.
A spokesman for the Violent Fugitive Task Force says Hepburn was charged with distributing cocaine in south Florida and those charges will have to be resolved before he can be brought back to face rape charges in Tallahassee.
