A small town police department's new drug unit made its third major bust Sunday night arresting three people for having a meth lab in their home.
Allen Burgess, Brandy Dixon, and Paul Vicks were charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. Investigators found 3.5 grams of methamphetamine, less than one once of marijuana, and, all of the components and ingredients for a working meth lab.
"The citizens seem to be very happy with it we get a lot compliments from them and we're getting a lot of them calling us giving us tips about stuff-so everyone around here that's doing need to stop because we're coming,” says Robert Jordon of Meigs Police Department.
The Meigs Police Department says it was tipped off to the operation by a confidential informant and has been heavily observing the suspects for the past six months.
