The case for Tallahassee's Southeast Spray Field DEP permit will be heard in September.
The City of Tallahassee had hoped to push the date to February but, City Attorney Jim English says the judge worked out a compromise.
The case will be heard in late September but the record will remain open for when the final report on the USGS study comes out. That is expected at the beginning of the new year.
The test is part of a dye tracer study that will help scientist determine how much of the treated waste water is ending up in Wakulla Springs.
