Airport Cleans Up After Storms Rip Through

Officials say Opa-Locka Airport suffered damage to a hanger and about 12 planes.

Television reports showed sheets of metal that were torn off the building, and some cars were damaged at the parking lot of the airport, which is northwest of Miami.

The line of thunderstorms brought heavy rain, hail, lightning and some street flooding to Miami-Dade and Broward Counties Monday.
