Tallahassee and Leon County leaders say too much money has been put towards storm water projects that sometime ends up in duplication.
So, both governments are putting their heads together to get back on the same page and figure out how they can work together.
They got an up close look at the good, the bad and the ugly of storm water facilities and to find out what each government has done independent of each other.
Cliff Thaell, Leon County Commission, At-Large said, “We've been investing community dollars in city projects and county projects for a long time without the left hand knowing what the right had was doing, now we're working on common ground.”
The city and county will be working together over the next five years on joint storm water planning.
