The Exotic Bird Fair kicked off Saturday at the North Florida Fairgrounds.

Hundreds of birds in the parrot family, including cockatoos, African Greys and Macaws are on display and up for sale.

Vendors are also selling all kinds of bird supplies and paraphernalia.

"We have vendors from all over the southeast visiting us today and anything a bird lover could want we have here for you today we have perches, birds, toys food. You name it, we have it here," says Patti Spain, a member of the sponsoring group Tri-State Avian Society.

The tri-state avian society holds this exotic bird fair annually and their proceeds fund a bird foster care program.

The fair continues Sunday from ten until four.
