The Tallahassee Police Department is asking for your help.
Officials say shortly after 11 o'clock Wednesday night, an armed robber came into the Laquinta Inn on North demanding money.
After getting the money from the register, the robber also attempted to have the clerk open the safe. When the safe could not be opened, the thief fled the scene.
The suspect is said to be a black male, 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds.
