The race for a soon-to-be vacated seat on the Leon County Commission is getting more crowded.
Tuesday, Tallahassee insurance agent Will Messer announced a run for the District 4 seat being vacated by Tony Grippa.
Messer, you may recall, ran against Grippa in the 2000 election and lost. He says as a father and small business owner he wants to bring some common sense to the board and wants to find another way of helping families to afford health insurance besides raising the sales tax.
Messer grew up in Tallahassee, is married and has three children. Messer is the latest of five candidates to announce for the District 4 commission seat.
