A Tallahassee man has just been sent to prison for stabbing a man nine times, and doing it so forcefully the blade lodged in his forehead.
Twenty-seven-year-old Divereon Lawson was convicted Wednesday of trying to kill Kenneth Armstrong last January.
Prosecutors contend just days after his release from prison, Lawson attacked Armstrong with a steak knife because he was dating his old girlfriend. Armstrong survived.
It took a jury less than two hours to convict Lawson, and he was promptly handed a life sentence.
