At a special meeting Wednesday evening, county officials confirmed the emergency wing of the building could be physically ready to be used as an urgent care center within three months.
But a timetable for the urgent center to open was not given.
Tallahassee Memorial Hospital would like to run that center and the hospital when it could be opened, but county commissioners say other groups have expressed interest to run the facility, and that decision has not yet been made.
