April showers bring May flowers, but today they brought chaos to Tallahassee. Midday thunderstorms left folks scrambling for shelter and emergency crews scattered across the city.
Burst of electricity lit up the afternoon sky. The aftermath of a string of storms that left branches dangling on power lines ,residents in the dark, and traffic lights out as well.
Drivers near Macomb and Tennessee adjusted to the power out, using the four way stop approach to the large intersection.
Utility crews were able to restore power Saturday afternoon.
