With time ticking down to the start of the 2006 hurricane season, Leon County emergency responders are testing their limits on how prepared they are for disaster.
Thursday's tabletop exercise is putting responders and county agencies face to face with a worst case scenario, a terror attack, and then a category four hurricane barring down on the Big Bend.
Richard Smith with Leon County Emergency Management said, "When you think you're ready, you're probably not. It's just a constant; you exercise, you do your new plans and you go right into that cycle again."
Smith said one of the most important things you can do is make sure you have a disaster plan in place.
