The company that signed up to supply voting machines for Leon County is facing a breach of contract deadline.
Nearly a month has passed since the county signed a contract with Diebold to purchase 60 voting machines that meet the Help America Vote Act standards.
Thursday night, the elections office said a delivery date has not been set and it's heard no word on the assignment of a project manager, as required by the contract. Diebold has until 5 p.m. Friday to respond.
