They're going the distance to fight a deadly cancer, about 3.1 miles to be exact. Dozens of runners gathered at Tom Brown Park in Tallahassee Sunday for a 5K-breast cancer walk/run.
Florida State students from Sigma Lambda Gamma organized the event to educate and raise funds for breast cancer victims.
All proceeds from today's event go to the gamma-gram foundation, to cover mammograms for underprivileged women.
